I cannot serve them one handed and need to be careful when setting them in the saucer that they are exactly in the middle, or they're likely to tip over. These cups have a good handle for holding, but their narrow base may be the reason they don't rest firmly on the saucer. I will be looking for another set of cups that are steadier.
It's hard to get excited about espresso cups. These were a pretty good value though.
